Additionally, you want to prevent anyone untrustworthy from having the ability to direct message you.

Connect With Family

Technology, like many things, can be beneficial or harmful depending on how it's used. Digital communication can be a great blessing to families separated by distance.

Don't

Replace Face-to-Face Relationships with Digital Relationships

Texting can be a great way to get to know a person better when circumstances prevent you from being together with them. That said, there is still an underappreciated value in having a face-to-face conversation with somebody.

Post Pictures of Your Pet

Who doesn't appreciate a grumpy cat pic or puppy photo shoot?

Don't

Send or Post Pics You Wouldn't Want Your Mom to See

It has been said, "Don't do anything that your Mom would not be proud of." If you apply this rule to your digital relationships, you could save yourself a lot of regret or embarrassment later on.

Do

Spread Good Vibes

Whether it's sending a kind text message or posting an inspirational quote, we encourage you to find a way to spread joy through your digital relationships. If we're being honest, we believe the world could use a lot more of that.

Don't

Cyberbully

It's just not cool. If you need any more persuasion, it's also a federal offense in the United States. Remember: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
